What a wild day of birding: early this morning the Lark Bunting at Mead WA with other birders. Thanks Dan for the call last night and your help this morning. Great looks at it for over an hour. Then the messages on my answering machine late this afternoon about the White-tailed Kite at Leona Marsh in Adams co. A quick race over there, arriving after 5:00 was successful. Most enjoyable as it perched way out in a dead tree and then hunted the field for rodents. Apparently was successful 4 out 5 times, according to other birders that had been watching it for a long time. Beautiful bird and great company again. (Again thanks Dan for the call about this one too.) One wonders what is next??!! Good luck everyone.
