Greetings again,
After posting the panorama, and Greater and Lesser Scaup photos today there
came up a question on the identification between the two Scaup Ducks. Others
also had questions of identifications between them.

Is there someone that can that can give a more definitive identification. I am
using "The Peterson Field Guide to
Birds" and images on the web. Others say they  using other guides and have a
hard time with identification. The males are slightly different (Greater is
whiter on sides with rounder top of head), but are the females the same?

The Scaup photos can are repeated at:

Thanks with the identification,
