Stopped by Schumacher today in an attempt to relocate the Red-necked Phalarope for Peter Fissel...could not find it...but did find a Hudsonian Godwit instead. Initially the bird was on the mud-spit (middle right) and was on the far side when Peter and I left just after 6:00. The bird is obvious if feeding in the water, but if near, or on the shore, it may be hard to locate since its dark color blends in with the background.
