I got a good look at a warbler that hit a window at the cabin we were staying North of Minocqua, near Trout Lake on Saturday. Happily, after several minutes it flew away. I'm pretty sure it was a female hooded warbler even though the hood was darker than any pictures I have seen and it seems to be North of its range. I got a good photo, but not sure how to include it without sending an attachment. How unusual would it be to see a hooded warbler that far north?
