We have had male Painted Bunting visits in Door County at least 5 or 6 times
over the last 30 years and nearly every one has been seen just for one day,
and often only for an hour or two. They don't seem to stay in one place very
long up here in the north country.

Unfortunately the Painted Bunting has not been seen this morning. There
were about a dozen of us there today, with some trying from dawn until
10:30, but no luck.
