After looking over thousands of canada geese over the past couple weeks finally found some greater white-fronted. South of Beaver Dam at the intersection of Hwy G and Hwy J there were 4 g.w.f. geese off to the side of several hundred canada geese. About 100 yards off the road in a short grass field so had a good view. Yesterday had a juvenile bald eagle on the ice on Lake Sinisippi sitting on a big fish. Several crows and a herring gull were hanging out nearby waiting for leftovers I suppose. On the open water had 3 c. goldeneye and about 10 c. mergansers along with the usual c. geese on the edge of the ice.
