This morning I found a GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE at Fish Creekâ??s beach. It was with about 12 Canada Geese, 20 yards off shore. After a few minutes they moved to the pier area of the harbor. I saw a GWF Goose in the same area November 29 and 30 of this year. Geese come and go in the larger Harbor area, but I still check them for the odd goose. Didnâ??t see it but itâ??s a large area. And a lot of geese. I also saw three HORNED GREBES today along Peninsula Parkâ??s shoreline and Ephraimâ??s harbor. (2 in the park, one in Ephraim.) This date is about two weeks beyond Door Co late date for this Grebe. But the waters of Green Bay are not frozen, so anything is possible. We hope.
