There was a group of 8 swans that kept flying around, usually landing back on
the east pond. I'm not able to see the subtle differences between Tundras
and Trumpeters with my binoculars, but did wonder if there were Trumpeters
there. I could hear the Tundra swans as the sun was setting.

On Saturday, for the Poynette CBC, there was a family of 8 Trumpeter Swans at
Goose Pond - two adults and six young. When Jim Otto and I saw them while
finishing up our paperwork before turning it in, they were on the east pond
with several score of Tundra Swans.

Subject: [wisb] Goose Pond

I went to Goose Pond Sun. afternoon. There were 131 swans on the east pond
and 38 on the west pond. Also dozens of Canada geese on the west pond as well
as some Mallards. There were also 2 Bald eagles on the ground by the water on
the east end of the east pond. Â As the sun began to set, hundreds of Canada
geese arrived and landed on the west pond. And the 2 eagles flew off toward
the north.
