At lunchtime today I was treated to the sight of about 30 Cedar Waxwings
flying and perching to eat berries from trees near the kitchen window.
They were a bit skittish and did not stay long, but I have had them most
years we have lived here at Cottage Glen in Ellison Bay during their late
winter visits and into early spring. They have been reported in Sister
Bay and also at the Scandia Nursing Home area trees this year. It was fun
watching them and of course they might come back. I live on Jensen Drive.
