I birded the south shore of Lake Superior between Port Wing and Cornucopia this morning. There is still open water along that stretch, but it was pretty barren. The only waterfowl were 6 COMMON GOLDENEYE at the Port Wing harbor. The Port Wing harbor had about 150 HERRING GULLS and Cornucopia had about 250 HERRING GULLS, with nothing else in the mix (though the assortment of gulls can change quickly there). I also had about 20 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS on Church Corner Rd. Nick Anich Ashland, WI #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
