Bill, you need to remove the workstation from the domain before you Ghost it. The alternative is to run Sysprep, but if you're on identical hardware, I wouldn't bother. -----Original Message----- From: mswindowsxp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mswindowsxp-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bill Beckett Sent: Tuesday, June 08, 2004 12:27 PM To: 'windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx'; 'mswindowsxp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [mswindowsxp] Trust problem First time ghosting an XP Pro workstation so maybe I'm missing something here. I ghosted it then went it and ran sysinternals NEWSID changing the computer name as well as the SID. However, when trying to log into the domain, it still tells me (The workstation) " The trust relationship between the workstation and primary domain controller failed". What am I missing? ================================== To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/winxplist.cfm ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor StressedPuppy.com Games Feeling stressed out?
