The logon screen will save Windows 2000 Advanced Server. Just go to the
logon screen or TS onto it, and you'll see what OS it is.

Windows 2000 Server:

         Microsoft
           Windows 2000
                 Server
Built on NT Technology

Windows 2000 Advanced Server:

         Microsoft
           Windows 2000
        Advanced Server
Built on NT Technology

How can one determine the difference between W2k Server and W2k Advanced
Server. I know the difference between processors and what not - I'm
looking to see the difference on two separate machines.

I have SMS installed and it's telling me that one of our "newer" servers
that we acquired has Advanced Server, but the admin is telling me that
he doesn't have a disk for it and couldn't have installed it. However,
the MFG states that it was shipped with Server.
