Terminal Services only work to connect to Windows Server. You should use
Terminal Services, which have 2 free connections (I believe) if you use
administration mode anyways.

If you are trying to connect from the server to a workstation I believe remote
desktop is the only tool besides using third party softwares but I never tried
running it from the server.

Subject: [windows2000] Remote Desktop

Hi,

I have a windows2000 server that I am trying to access from a windows xp
workstation via Remote Desktop. I installed the Remote Desktop Client on the
windows 2000 machine. My question is, do you need to have Terminal Services in
order to make this connection?

Thanks in advance,

Paul.
