I have no clue what Glenn means by protocol analyzer, but I would just
tcpdump the connection to check the traffic. That should give you an idea if
everything is normal or if your email server is being used for spam, someone
if someone is running kazaa, etc...

Kazaa is one of those programs that share files over the internet so you can
copy programs/music/movies from the internet. You can check if someone is
running it by finding out what ports it uses to connect and checking if
there are connections to those ports. There might be a better way, but
that's the way I would do it of the top of my head! ; )

Glenn,

I have no idea what a protocol analyzer is, and I am certain no one else
here does, either. (Although I am sure you are correct, that this would
help.)

What is Kazaa? And how do I determine if anyone is running it?

Rod
