I wouldn't use 5 for data, unless it's a pretty static database and most
of the operations will just be queries.  I'd use 1 or 10.  I'd only use
1 if that's all that the budget would allow though, and I'd setup
backups every five minutes or less.

everything I've seen points to 10-5-10... Raid10 for your OS, Raid5 for
your swap, Raid10 for your database files. That's what we generally do
on the SQL DB servers in the Citrix farms we deploy. Of course, these
are pretty beefy 4- and 8-way boxes, though.

Just wanted to get the lists opinion on this. 
We have RAID 5 for several of our servers. However, our database server
is going to be rebuilt and I have read several articles saying that RAID
5 is not a good choice for a DB server. What would you guys recommend
for a DB Server?
