As far as I've always heard, the only way to delete them from the history is to arrow down to the address while it's suggesting a list of completions and pressing delete while it is selected. Obviously this info is stored somewhere on your computer, but from what I remember hearing, the format of this storage is undocumented and not open to our own manipulation.
