[windows2000] Outlook

I just installed Office XP. I'm working with Outlook, and I love a lot of the
new
features that it has. The only problem is that it is super slow when receiving
messages,
like when I first get in in the morning. If I have 25 messages, it will sit
there and
sort through each one for at least a few seconds, and the whole process ends up
taking
like 5 minutes, where it used to be almost instantaneous with Outlook 2000. Any
suggestions?
