Just out of curiosity, do you think that you could visually perceive the difference between 85 Hz and 100? When viewing a blank white screen in 60 Hz, there's a noticeable flicker, but even 75 Hz takes that away from my eyes. But, as far as your high refresh rate, I personally have always found Sony monitors to support higher than average refresh rates at the higher resolutions. Or you could just drop to 640×480. :P Is there a reason that you don't want to just get a flat panel instead of the old CRT technology? Perhaps I wouldn't have this question if I knew what stereo viewing is. Are you referring to a dual monitor setup as "stereo viewing" perhaps? Ray at work P.S.
