I use cybersitter on all of my computers for my kids.  It lets you schedule
times when the internet can and can't be accessed and can be easily disabled
with a password. You can block or allow only specific sites also. It has the
added benefit of tracking all sites your kids visit as well as being able to
record both sides of conversations of instant messaging chat sessions. Then
it can silently email you a copy of the log file daily. Worth every penny of
the $39.95 I paid for it.

I know a solution, it's something used in some companies all over the
world.....a password....
And when mommy only knows the password, she has to type it to allow them
access to the computer....

And as stated before, for I'm also a parent, discipline works the
best........
Problem is TV stations don't really help with the stuff they broadcast
these days......a bit less violence would help us parents a lot....
