That's funny. It reminds me of the time when I sent a message out (on
purpose) that said "John Jones, please call x3489. I didn't know where he
was, so I thought that would be the quickest way to get in touch with him.
Well, 700 calls later at x3489 looking for John Jones, I decided not to do
that again!

Be sure not to accidentally type:

net send * \\server\share

the way that I do every now and then. That always generates lots of calls
and e-mails from people. "What is this message you sent me?" "Oh, sorry, I
sent it to all 800 of our employees accidentally. Please ignore it..."

Is there any way that I can create a batch file to map a drive to any
available drive letter rather than specifying the drive letter? I am using
notepad to create my batch file....

Thanks in advance,

Paul.
