Hi all,

I need to mass-uninstall Eudora in a few days on all our client
computers, so I looked for away to uninstall it en masse. I had an idea
to look at the uninstall string in the registry for Eudora (1), so I ran
that command on a CLI, and it uninstalled fine.

Then I reinstalled Eudora, to see if the uninstallstring is the same as
the initial one. And of course it's not (2)...

Is there any consistency at all when it comes to the same software
versions (regarding guid's etc)?? The only thing I've seen that *might*
help is that all the Eudora installers are made with Installshield.
Installshield (supposedly) supports the "-uninst" switch, which I used
with the setup-file (the one that installs Eudora), but the -uninst
switch didn't do anything... [Maybe I used it wrong?]

I'll resort to a dirty uninstall by simply deleting the Eudora program
folder (c:\program files\qualcomm\Eudora) if I have too, but I'm
thinking that this might break something in the registry, not to mention
that Eudora will still be seen in the add/remove programs control panel.

Any ideas ppl?

TIA.
