I don't see why not. Its still just a location in sysvol and a bat or = cmd file. If you make that that bat or cmd call kix it will run the kix = scripts. Click the "Show Files" and then get the address bar to appear and you = will see the location it is pointing to. As you can tell, I don't run mine this way but I still think it would = work. But there is a place when creating GPO's to assign startup/shutdown and logon/logoff scripts. I don't believe these can be kix files. jb -----Original Message----- From: Greg Reese [mailto:GReese@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]=20 Sent: Thursday, September 19, 2002 11:44 AM To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] Re: Logon scripts make your logon.bat or whatever one line that is something like this: "@ECHO OFF" "%0\..\kix32.exe kixtart.kix" or whatever your script is then put all the necessary files in the =3D = logon script folder on a DC in winnt\SYSVOL\sysvol\domainname\Scripts Greg -----Original Message----- From: Jason Benway [mailto:benwayj@xxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, September 19, 2002 11:32 AM To: 'windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [windows2000] Re: Logon scripts But I don't think you can use Kix scripts from GPO's. Personally I like kix. It is much faster than a plain old batch = =3D =3D3D file. Lots of support available for it at kix.org as well.
