Public web browser has been updated and is no longer free. Use Mozilla. It works fine on Citrix and is just as easily locked down. We have run IE on Citrix for our library terminals for the last 7 years. I'm venturing a guess that there will soon be some browser devices or enhancements for the SBC arena in the near future. Altiris has a product that does this. NetX sells it in their Flexsafe server. The product for restoring PC's is called GOBACK from Norton (formerly by Roxio) http://www.symantec.com/goback/ <http://www.symantec.com/goback/> JK -----Original Message----- From: windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Jonathan Jesse Sent: Wednesday, July 28, 2004 10:35 AM To: windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [windows2000] Re: Internet Only PC Another question along the same line, anyone use Terminal Services/Citrix and some form of Kiosk mode for IE? We used an old version of application called public browser that was freeware and since the latest updates to IE it appears to be not working. Any thoughts on that from the list?
