We use jabber here, in fact I helped write part of the windows install docs.

*****************************Rather than "unplugging" from IM, if you *need* internal IM tools, why not use Jabber? It's Open Source and there are Windows based implementations (http://www.jivesoftware.org/messenger/) that are free plus... the clients are free and adware unencumbered, plus (as I understand) it's more difficult to get viruses through it.

It uses port 5222 server talk.google.com for you people who want to block chat servers in your DNS.
Pretty neat stuff...I have been playing with it all morning. Haven't tested it on TS/Citrix yet but seen no reason why it wouldn't work.
