From memory I thought RIS had to install a DHCP service on the same machine
to authenticate against for PXE boot client to get their IP's from, that's
how we had it running here before going back to good old Altiris !

It does have more than one NIC, but the service is bound only to the
inside network, as it should be. When the service is running, it works
fine dishing out IPs. The only thing I've done recently is to install
RIS to another machine (different ip, obviously), but I've checked
that it was only ris, not dhcp service as well.
