 The Freelists site offers a "vacation" mode which stop the list from
coming into your mailbox.  It allows you to still post though.

Frankly, I always think that the best bet is a public folder (or other
method of having a separate address... PF is my choice on Exchange
Server), and subscribe the public folder address as usual to the list,
and then sub your "posting" address, and put it on vacation mode
permanently.  It will never get any messages directly, but will be
allowed to post.

How do you create a ooo rule to not reply to a certain address?  Or does
the freelists site offer a temporary unsubscribe.
