Create a forward lookup to messenger.hotmail.com and point it to 127.0.0.1 Or: Create a group policy for the users which prohibits the running of the program "msmsgs.exe" or the executable for MSN IM. This also works for numerous annoying programs and utilities (ie cmd.exe, calc.exe, mspaint.exe, etc. etc.) here's a group policy reference link... http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/prodtechn ol/windows2000serv/howto/grpolwt.asp?frame=true#d and here's a link on roaming profiles etc... http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/prodtechn ol/windows2000serv/howto/userdata.asp?frame=true JK -----Original Message----- From: windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:windows2000-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Steve Rance Sent: Friday, August 08, 2003 4:00 AM To: Windows2000 Mailing List (E-mail) Subject: [windows2000] Banning msn messager...
