Im not sure you understood my question.

How do you apply a security policy to a specific group on stand-alone (not
noetworked) Windows 2000 pro computer? ex: You have a home computer without
a network and want to put your son in a seperate group and apply security
polices to his group only.

How do you apply a GPO to OU on a stand-alone (not networked) windows 2000
pro computer?

Please be specific.

Thanks
mike

You would apply your GPO to an OU. The users and computers would need to be
in that OU. Keep in mind that you can't apply GPOs to thee default User and
Computer Container. You need to create a new one and move the object to
that new OU. If you want to filter the GPO further for specific
users/Computers in that OU, use the security permission tab to apply/deny
the GPOs.
