basically they are laptop users who connect whilst on premises and often
connect at other locations. they do not currently run vpn or dial in
connections to connect

So, would you treat this wireless computer connection like someone using cable, DSL, or a modem to "dial" into the network and use Dial-Up Networking to log in?

Thanks. I thought about this but this would then delay login for all LAN users too which we dont really want.
