Community Connect Inc. is seeking a talented and dynamic Site Producer to
join AsianAvenue.com, the largest Asian-American media property. Community

We build tools that enable people to form relationships, communicate, and
attain information on community activities. Our online sites are committed

Job Description:
This position is primarily responsible for managing content and maintaining
the tools for member interaction for our AsianAvenue.com site.
Specifically, the Producer edits articles, updates games, forums, and polls,
manages interns and writers, and develops strategies to improve the overall
member experience. The Producer will also be responsible for day-to-day
activities such as:
Ø Managing
- Writers & Interns
- Assign daily and weekly tasks
Ø Site Content
- Assign and edit standing columns and articles
- Assign and edit breaking news feeds
- Assign and edit breaking news items
- Forecast and measure results of content initiatives
Ø Site Updates
- Update and manage all Homepage alerts
- Update and manage Games section
- Update and manage Member of the Week section
- Update and manage Member Rewards
- Update and manage Channels
Ø Projects
- Act as project lead on long-term and short-term projects
- Manage deadlines for each project from conception to launch
Ø Strategy
- Define and contribute strategies that will increase site membership and
retention as it relates to:
§ Content elements
§ Core site elements
§ Site tools
§ Record and improve Site vitals such as uniques and page views
Ø Ethnic Competency
- Flag all projects, sales initiatives, and marketing schemes for ethnic
competency
- Define brand voice guidelines to assist various departments. Maintain
these guidelines by staying abreast of U.S. Asian-American market landscape.
Ø Support Work
- Edit content needs for Sales
- Create and/or edit copy for various teams
- Participate in marketing strategies for revenue teams when needed
Qualifications:
Ø Bachelors Degree
Ø Minimum 2 years editorial experience
Ø Minimum 1 year web production experience
Ø Excellent writing and editing skills
Ø Excellent organization and time management skills
Ø Strong understanding of and passion for U.S. Asian-American culture and
issues
Ø Access to network of freelance writers who can write about relevant U.S.
Asian-American issues
Ø Good third-party relationship skills
Ø Expertise in site member composition, site tools and content strategy
