[webproducers] Feedback requested


Hello everyone,

I was hoping I could enlist some of your time to critique a web site that
I've developed for a non-profit organization (KindActs). The hard launch is
scheduled for this Wednesday and I'd like some user's input to make sure
everything is in tip-top shape.

The search function will be up and running no later than tomorrow, so don't
worry about that function until its working.

This site will be initially targeted towards all of the schools in BC,
Canada to enlist them in a pilot project called "Invest in a Kinder World
Coin-spiracy" The schools will receive emails and printed information
directing them to the web site for further details and participation. After
the UNI coin has been launched, our target audience will be schools, school
kids, holders of the UNI coin, and general interest folk.

I'd like feedback on usability issues like:

- navigation: Do all of the links work? Is it easy to navigate around the
site? Does the drop down menu work ok?

- content: is there anything that doesn't make sense? Is it clear how to
register and what the program is all about? Is it clear what happens after
registering and how to track the UNI coin? Is it clear on what to do if you
are a holder of the UNI coin after you've received it from someone else? Is
there any inconsistencies?

- Macsters: does the layout come across ok? Is there any grey areas that
I've missed? (the colour grey that is, everything should have a white
background)

- Layout: How does it look on older browsers? What about browsers other than
IE and Netscape?

- Design: Its a bit late to make any major changes, but if you have any
suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Any feedback you can give me would be greatly appreciated. We've been
working on this project since March and being a pilot project we're having
to try and guess on a lot of issues of what to expect.
