Well, z/OS does not have UAC2 support either.  So I guess Windows is
just too enterprisey nowadays ...

Still not quite sure why MS don't have an out the box driver for this
class though.

MS contributed to the UAC2 specification, but from what I've heard, the
intended developer left MS.  It appears that later, the driver was not
assigned a high enough priority to fit inside the limited amount of
development resources available at MS:
