[wdmaudiodev] Can a driver tell that an endpoint is disabled?

This isn't a game-stopper, but is there any way a driver can tell that the user has disabled an endpoint in the Sound applet? In a jack-of-all-trades PCIe card I'm currently working on, it'd be handy to know so that the part of the hardware corresponding to a disabled endpoint could be shut down.
