Jul 2-7: LeFors Precision Passing Camp

Camp Lakodia is thrilled to have our very first football camp with a CODA pro football player!

WHEN:
    Sunday, July 7 to Saturday, July 7, 2006

    $450 per camper

About Stefan LeFors:
Stefan LeFors, a CODA, is a second year quarterback of the Carolina Panthers. He was drafted out of the University of Louisville in the 4th round of the 2005 NFL Draft. A two-year starter at Louisville, he guided the Cardinals to 9-4 and 11-1 seasons. In his Louisville career, Stefan amassed 5,853 passing yards with 38 touchdowns. He also set the school record for career rushing yards by a quarterback with 756 yards. He was also a two-time All-Conference Quarterback and finished his Senior season with a passer efficiency rating of 181.7, the second best rating in NCAA history. Stefan currently lives in Charlotte with his wife, Joy.


About the Camp:
The 2006 LeFors Precision Passing Camp aims to enhance fundamentals, techniques, skills, motivation, sportsmanship, knowledge, and strategy necessary for players to succeed in the offensive passing game. Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Tight Ends and Wide Receivers from grades 7-12 (the next football season) are encouraged to attend and receive instruction from Stefan and Eric LeFors.

WHEN?
    Sunday, August 6 to Saturday, August 19

COST?
    $850 per person
    (Price includes lodging, meals, and 3-day trip to Rapid City)
    Rapid City = Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and other attractions

Hearing kids of deaf adults (KODAs) of ages 9 thru 16 will enjoy an amazing experience, exploring their identity as bicultural

individuals through increased awareness of ASL, deaf culture, hearing culture and by sharing their own stories.

Bert Pickell - with eight years of experience directing KODA Camps - leads a knowledgeable team from Camp Mark 7 in

providing fun activities that help campers understand their unique heritage. KODA Campers will have a great time, and leave with a

deep appreciation of their group identity as KODAs.
