“Pah! Boutique” within UniversaLink at the Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is opening soon and we are looking for talented d/Deaf and hard of hearing artists and crafters who want to participate in this unique opportunity. The purpose of Pah! Boutique is to provide a showcase and sales channel for talented d/Deaf and hard of hearing artists and crafters. Boutique items such as artwork, handmade cards, clothing items, jewelry and home décor, will be on display within the UniversaLink showroom, located at CDHH, 10243 W. Nov 3-4: CDHH Used Book Sale Fundraiser - Donations Needed

Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Seeking Donations of Used Books and Videos

The Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CDHH) will be holding its first annual used book sale on November 3 and 4, 2006, at its headquarters located at 10243 W. National Avenue in West Allis. The Center is currently seeking donations of gently used books, videos, or DVD’s, to include in this sale. Donations to CDHH are tax deductible and may be dropped off at CDHH during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Arrangements can also be made to have donated items picked up from your home or business.

Volunteers are also needed for this event, to pick-up, sort and price donated materials in advance. Individuals interested in volunteering to help with this event, or who wish to donate materials can call 414-604-7210 (Voice) / 888-742-7651 (TTY) or e-mail akelchen@xxxxxxxx for more information.

All proceeds from this fundraising event will go to support the many programs and services provided by CDHH for children and adults with hearing loss in Wisconsin. The Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has been serving individuals with hearing loss for more than 75 years.
