Message from DAW Festival 2006:

Last year, on October 1, 2005, the announcement was made that Wisconsin Association of the Deaf would host the first-ever Deaf Awareness Week Festival in our state. As posted: "The purpose of this exciting event is to keep the spirit of the community strong." This continues to be the purpose of DAW Festival 2006. Any profits from this event will go back into WAD directly, in entirety. All donations of money, goods, and services will be used and distributed by WAD expressly for this event.

DAW Festival would like to announce a new sponsor in Sorenson Communications! Our thanks to Sorenson Communications for sponsoring at the "Curds and Whey" level. A complete list of sponsors will be available as soon as the new website goes on live very shortly. Our new website will be www.dawfestival.com and it will be up and running very soon.

Again, let's keep the spirit of Wisconsin Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities strong! See you on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Wisconsin State Fair Park Expo Center!
