Hello all,
Although I am quite new to the VetView Support Team, I will be working
with the Conference Committee to plan the 2014 VetView Community Conference.
Please keep in mind that this is a users’ conference, and it’s planning will
require assistance from every school. I believe I was able to meet each of you
at the 2013 conference- with the possible exception of Shari- and I look
forward to working with you. If you are no longer able to act as the Conference
Committee representative for your school, please respond to the listserv
accordingly, and I will make the alteration. If there is an alternate
representative, please have them contact me as well so that I can add that
person to the listserv.
We anticipated having a 2013 conference follow-up email go out prior to the
planning of next year’s conference, but with the possibility of the event
moving to Spring, it seemed best to nail down a date and location first thing.
(After all, if March is the only time available to all schools, planning would
need to start immediately.) In order to remain consistent, I have created a
Doodle account where you can all input your desired schedule for the first
meeting. From there, we will cross-reference those schedules to determine the
most optimal time for the majority of participants. Please click the following
link to access the Doodle account: http://www.doodle.com/nwnpkg3n3vfegqza I
was previously unfamiliar with Doodle, so please let me know if there are any
issues using the tool. Note that all the times entered are the week after
Thanksgiving due to the need to determine a time as quickly as possible. Please
be prepared to come to this meeting with several suggested weeks in mind when
the conference would work for your school.
Also, If your school is willing to act as host school for the 2014
conference, please notify the listserv as quickly as possible, as this may
factor in when attempting to schedule the event. Once we have confirmed these
details, we can go over this year’s conference in more detail to determine how
best to plan for the 2014 conference.

Happy fall holidays,
