[visionegg] paralle port: voltage measured by oscilloscope

o.k. on pin 12 (0x20) I measured +5V. when I "bind" it down to 0V (pin
25 is grounded to 0V-conncected with ground of the signal generator)
nothing happens with VE: VE always sees "32" (suppose this means
2power5)....
so either the VE code doesn't work properly with my thinkpad (although I
run VE as su) or....do I need to change the LPT settings in the bios?
