Hi Petrina, Spyware is software that secretly gathers information about a user while he/she navigates the Internet. This information is normally used for advertising purposes. Spyware can also gather information about email addresses and even passwords and credit card numbers. This is when it becomes a threat and should at all times be kept off your computers. Also some spyware is so bad that it can cause problems on your PC such as errors etc. An Anti-spyware program is a program that protects your PC against spyware and helps to keep your computer and personal details secure. An example of an anti spyware program would be a piece of software called; spybot. Below is the link to a couple of Anti Spyware programs, should you wish to download them and run on your computer. Spybot 1.60: http://www.spybotupdates.biz/files/spybotsd160.exe Super Anti Spyware: http://downloads2.superantispyware.com/downloads/SUPERAntiSpyware.exe Hope this helps you some Petrina. Paul.
