Well it looks like I will have to speak to a phone doctor after all because
when I turn my phone off and turn it back on Talks is not in the menu list.
When I remove the battery and replace it talks does reappear and I have to go
in and enable talks again. So I am not sure what I am after doing!

Sabrina, you won't believe this but I went in to the option of disabling
talks!
Yes I successfully succeeded in same then couldn't get it back!
With assist I eventually did so!
Go to
installations moved it on top and then uparrow now talks on top!
Ah and don't forget the options menu when in talks.
So, as I say, hang on to your talks whilst it is speaking that's what I say!
Trust all that makes sense to you, not sure about me!

I'm afraid if you knocked it off your phone you may have indeed lost
it!
Now here's a suggestion to try before you send or take it anywhere to
be sorted!
On my phone, the E51 to unmute Talks I hit talks key and the delete
button and for the reverse the same.
