Hi John, Thanks for response. Just one question. It's an audio cd, so can I just select the files and copy them to a folder? I ask, because I think cd audio files have a .cda extention, and are about 44KB in size, so they don't contain the actual audio. Thanks, Eamonn "John Carroll" <john.carroll@opw .ie> To Sent by: vicsireland@xxxxxxxxxxxxx vicsireland-bounc cc e@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject [vicsireland] Re: query: copying 25/11/2009 15:37 audio cd using Windows Media Player? Please respond to vicsireland@freel ists.org hi, if you are copying a cd then you will have to save the content to a folder on the c drive. then insert blank cd go to the folder containing the contents of the first cd and press the right application keyboard arrow down until you hear send to, hit enter on this then arrow down to the cd drive and hit enter. now the files are in the cd drive waiting to be written, open the drive and hit file and arrow down to write the selected files to cd and hit enter, now you will get the option to create a data cd or audio one, if the files are pc files choose data and if it is a audio cd hit enter on audio cd. hope this is clear. john carroll On 25 Nov 2009 at 15:12, vicsireland-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: Hi folks, I'm sure this has been covered, but I can't find the relevant email, so apologies for the repost. How do you copy an audio cd using Windows Media Player - I think I'm using version 11. I just have the one cd / dvd RW drive, so the source and destination will be the same.
