Thanks for that Gerard.

I actually have the data in an Access db and would like to move it to a more 
real-world database like Oracle, SQL Server etc. Some of the tools designed to 
work with these systems are more accessible than others, it's recommendations 
on the best combination to use I'm actually after...

I've used ms Access with jaws in the past with jaws 8 and not had any real 
problems except for formatting cells, you may be acquainted with the ms access 
design mode and going through the list of format features which are in a list 
after the upper portion of the window where you are putting the headings in for 
the columns.  inputting some of the values can be slightly tricky but I expect 
you are more interested in finding out how people find using a database.  I've 
had no problems with forms but reading the reportsheets can be problematic. My 
experience is datedso I'd have to get back into it again to give you real info 
and I suppose use the new version with jaws 13 as I expect that jaws 8 would 
not work well with it.
