Hi Tim,

Thanks for the feedback. That table is not correctly coded and the overall interaction design is not the best. Like you, I found it overly complex. I'll send some feedback to the developers (who claim it's accessible), because this kind of resource could be useful and must be made accessible.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

I think I've a bit of a problem with the table where you select the features you want in a phone, such as Tactile Key Markers - 'F' & 'J' or
Tactile Key Marker - '5' etc.

The table does not seem to be constructed properly. Navigating using the Jaws table navigation keys does not work correctly. Also, If I check
the box associated with Tactile Key Markers - 'F' & 'J' Jaws says:

Tactile Key Marker - '5' checked

Which is a bit confusing to say the least.

Also I've yet to actually get any search results back yet, even though in one search I only included the criteria of Tactile Key Marker - '5'.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong though. In my opinion the search process is quite complex, and there are nearly too many options/ features to
choose from.

Tim

find the best cellphone

The mobile phone industry has developed a worldwide information
service, and website, for reporting the accessibility features of
mobile phones, to enable people with disabilities of all kinds to find
phones that best meet their needs.

The new website, www.mobileaccessibility.info, will allow consumers to
search for a mobile phone model that suits their specific
accessibility requirements. It is an initiative of the global Mobile
Manufacturers Forum (MMF) that has been under development for over a
year and is now being formally launched around the world.

I'd be interested to know what Vicsonians think of it. Particularly
the 'find a phone' feature. Does it work? Is it easy to use?
