hi. i don't use bookshare. but, if i am correct you need the go read
app for this.
it is on google app store but not amazon.
you can do a side-load to check out the app.

i've loaded alot of apps from other than amazon and the method i show
works well. hope this helps.
note: accessing "apps from other sources" on the kindle fire has
changed on the new os 5. i believe you now find this under security. i
have as of yet written alot of copy for the os 5 changes.
