hi. my lg phone came with voice digit dial, voice contacts, voice time
and my voice mail is connected to google mail, so, i get all of my
voice mails also as an email. i have never saw a need to move up to
another phone with all of the voice activated advantages - just enough
to keep me busy. and, as long as the charger works and the phone
battery holds a good charge; why change? for me, it's a phone used as
a phone.
as an aside, when i bought the phone, my first cell phone (and, to
date my only cell phone), this "driving-mode" phone was the one offer
and the other was the new picture phone. taking pictures wasn't in my
ball park but the idea of "driving-mode" a-hand's-off method of using
the phone appealed to me. in other words, when i open the phone, i can
speak "driving-mode" and the phone will go into speaker mode. i then
can make my call, have the call on speaker, without hitting any
buttons. voicing "driving-mode" again, turns off the speaker. i
thought that was so cool!
