Thanks. It's just that I hear so many different things even Amazon Kindle 
support staff say different things from each other. 

Can the battery be replaced or not when it runs out? 

Also I am not sure where to ask this but hoping someone might know. Will Tesla 
batteries for electric cars be used in Kindle eventually to give more life?

No.  Why should it any more than listening to a radio while it is plugged in.?
