You're going to need to be way way more specific. Which tablet
specifically do you have, and even more specifically, what does it say
under settings>about>model? I understand it may be a Samsung whatever,
for example, but that still doesn't tell me much. I need to know that,
yes, but I also need the model according to the settings screen, in
addition.

As for rooting, what version of Windows are you on? If you have at
least Windows 7, there is a utility that would automatically put
CyanogenMod 11 on your device.

If you can afford $50 out the door, it may be better for you to send it
off to a guy who can do the whole process for you, who is sighted.
He'll be sure when you get it back, Talkback already is running, that
it's probably modded, that the Gaps file is sideloaded properly through
the recovery, which isn't normally accessible for us to do on our own...
etc.

If you want to contact him, you can e-mail him at:

Be patient with the guy. He does this thing for a lot of people, so it
may take him a few days, but trust me, it's worth it!

If you wanna try this yourself though, go get the gaps file for the
version of CM, preferably V11, that you wanna use, then find the CM11
rom for your device, flash the CM rom, then sideload the gaps package,
and you'll be good to go.

One place I'd start, though, don't! and I repeat, don't! use this as
gospel, is:

http://www.get.cm

Don't! and I repeat, don't! flash just any oal 4.4 rom on your device,
thinking that just because it's CM 11 based on 4.4, it'll just natrually
work. That's a real good way to brick your device permanently if you
don't know what you're doing.

It may take a few days worth of work to do yolur homework and find the
correct rom, but once you do, it should work.
