When you say the screen doesn't work, do you mean that gesture doesn't work, or do you mean the screen literally is physically busted?

If the ladder, you could get it on, but not very easily. You'd have to do it by arrowing to settings and hitting enter, arrowing to accessibility and hitting enter, arrowing to talkback and hitting enter, then arrowing to the on/off toggle switch, and hitting enter to toggle it. Then, if it's the first time Talkback has been ran on the device, you'll then have one more step by arrowing to the ok button, and hitting enter.

Long story short, no. First letter navigation wont' work.

I'm not aware of any, but why couldn't you just do the two finger hold on
the screen to bring up accessibility?

Subject: [vi-android] custom ROMs with TalkBack

Does anyone know, or if you are on another list, perhaps you can find out,
Are there any custom ROMs that come up talking with TalkBack?
If there are, I'll learn how to install a ROM.
Thanks.

Glenn
