[vi-android] Urgently need help with Nova Launcer, or Apex Launcher

Preferably, I'd like to do this with Nova, not Apex, but whatever.

Folks, I am having the hardest time ever figuring out two things. First of all, and by far, if you're only gonna address one of my concerns, please just don't even respond at all, unless you're gonna at least address this concern of mine as it's by far, the most important of the two.

How do I in Nova Launcher, and yes, I do have Prime, set the default page? I totally, get! that there is a setting where you arrange your home screens, and delete them, by either double tapping the home button until you get there, or by going into nova settings, but what I am not! getting is once in there how to do this. I definitely see the default button, but when I double tap it nothing happens, and when I double tap on any of the pages, it just moves my focus to that particular page. The only way I've found to make this work was to find the fefault button, long press it, then slide and drag my finger and drop that button on the page that I want being the default. This is not a good sollution, as though I have a little bit of vision, and can successfully and consistently do this sometimes, I suspect if I have a few more pages added eventually, it's going to become a major visual nightmare for me to achieve this task. Talkback doesn't announce what page I've hovered over when dragging the default button. What I'm finding is that once set, it's not sticking. If I leave it alone, it stifcks, but the second that I add another page to the launcher after filling up all the ones I already have with shortcuts, apps, widgits, etc, then the new page I add automatically becomes the new default. I absolutely hate this! I know I can just two finger swipe from page to page, but come on! that's annoying! I remember a while back on the eyes-free list, which I no longer am on, nor have any intention of getting back on, someone did explain how to accessibly do this with Nova, but I can't seem to find that e-mail to save my life in the list archives, and believe you me, yes! I went to the google groups web site, and looked like crazy for it!

I'd be happy to do this on Apex if it's easier to do, but, from what I'm seeing, it's not. When I looked, the whole home screen/default arrangement area was totally! inaccessible. I mean, I could move around, but there wasn't a single thing in that whole screen that I could see which was labeled.

Actually, you know what, don't even worry for now about the other question I had. On second thought, let's just get this addressed first, then I'll present my other question which is somewhat irellavent.

Chris.
