Hi all, I have been contacted by the developers of a free Android app called: Keepal. Shortly this app will also be released for both IOS and Windows Mobile phones. The developers are seeking comments and feature suggestions on their new app. This app was originally designed for people who are driving so that there is minimal need to touch the screen. It is however more than usable for us folk who aren't sitting in front of a steering wheel. It will automatically: Read out your SMS messages, email messages, RSS feeds, news feeds from a number of different sources that you can choose from as well as calendar events. It can also play your music if you like. The first time you start the app there is a setting for a vision impairment mode that you can choose that changes the standard colors used by the app and even a color blindness mode that hopefully will be useful for those who are completely color blind to make the screen easier to see. I have added the email address for Mike Wilkinson below. Mike is looking for interested people possibly as a focus group or is happy to hear from you by email for your ideas and thoughts. Mike is based in Sydney but does get down to Melbourne on a regular basis. If your interested in helping out please contact Mike on the email address below.
